Mr. Bipin Thakkar graduated in the year 1980 as a B.sc in Chemistry from Mumbai University and had shown tremendous interest in developing the bentonite business. He has lead the group for more then 35 years and is the key person for bringing Star Bentonite Exports on the International map. He is a gem of a person, who dares to dream and possesses the power to make his every dream come true. He has paved his way to the top because of his distinct vision. The financial, managerial and administrative affairs are under his supervision and control, through his constant efforts he has concentrated all his energies, to pining Star Group on the international map.
He has greatly assisted Mr. Bipin for establishing the market in the beginning and is now in-charge of the domestic business for the Star Group. His high interest in Technology led him to develop and head the Information Systems in the Star group of companies. He has 15 years of experience in the Indian market and possesses vast knowledge about the detailed procedures and processes involved in the Indian Business. He has developed a great network in the field of minerals.
An ambitious gentleman, who received his management graduation from Kingston University in London with specialization in entrepreneurship & MBA (Finance) from Manipal University in Dubai, which poised to lead his business globally. Mr. Nikunj has conceived the idea of expanding business globally through his own distribution channels. He started his career by opening Drilling Bentonite General Trading LLC to promote Star's Products in UAE and has subsequently been a face of business development activities for Star group and with his strong dedication has helped the group attract lot of international joint ventures partners seeking strategical collaborations with Star Group.
He completed his BBA (Marketing) from Manipal University in Dubai. After this, he did his M.Sc. in marketing management from Aston University in Birmingham, U.K. His enthusiasm and keen interest in the technical aspects of Bleaching earth have led him to control and co-ordinate the Marketing activities for the Star group of companies. He is Perseverant in achieving his desired goals through sustained efforts. His communication skills combined with his persuasion power and team-working abilities has lead him to be a great asset to the Star group of companies.
Mrs Vimla Makhijani has been associated with the star group since 1990 and has been part of the successfully growing Star Bentonite Exports from its very initial days. She completed her graduation in Commerce and currently leads the team for customer service and logistics which has helped Star Group to earn its reputation in front of the customers for prompt service and efficient communication.
Mr. Kaushal Pujara completed his MBA in the year 2010 and immediately joined Star group. He is a young gentleman who is very skillful with manpower management and has been adding value to the Star group by single handedly increasing the production capacities.Despite of having a small history with Star group, Mr. Kaushal Pujara has equipped himself with the technicality of the product as well as the process to manage a team of more than 100 people.
