Paper Industry TIXOSTAR CL & STARSORB^TM 500

TIXOSTAR^TM and STARSORB^TM are crucial to paper making, where they are used in pitch control, i.e. absorption of wood resins that tend to obstruct the machines and to improve the efficiency of the conversion of pulp into paper as well as to improve the quality of the paper. STARSORB and TIXOSTAR also offer useful de-inking properties for paper recycling. In addition, acid activated bentonite is used as the active component in the manufacture of carbonless copy paper.

Tixostar CL is based on a high natural sodium bentonite carefully selected, mined and treated as to give the best performances in paper making and water clarification assuring a high grade of consistency in Montmorillonite content, Cations Exchange Capacity (CEC), Specific Surface, Swelling and Liquid Limit.
